Working in a large project community makes it difficult to find the right person (by name) responsible for task completion within a digital workflow.

Working in a large project community makes it difficult to find the right person (by name) responsible for task completion. Selecting the form 'assigned to' dropdown lists the Roles and Individuals so selecting the right person from 25+ mechanical technicians can be is difficult i.e. who's in, are they in close proximity, do they have the correct competency, have they been dismissed the previous shift etc. So why not add a filter to the form to select the role thus listing all the Mechanical Technicians, offering further transparency on assigning a task. Currently we see a name and not know who they are or what they do.

Thank you for your idea. When designing forms, it is possible to include filters in user selection lists, including showing only users of a certain role. Using that feature can significantly simplify the assignment process for end users.
