Take a photo of a material ticket in the field and create a PDF of the image to be attached filed in the project. What would have been done with a scanner to convert a paper ticket to a digintal file.

Thank you for your idea. There are multiple tools and apps that provide functionality to scan documents using the camera of a mobile device. We are unlikely to add this functionality in the foreseeable future.
